Peti having a snack in the afternoon. He is better today, thank God!

Picture 57; April 26th, 2009

Children right before going to bed. They do look tired, don't they? ;-)

Picture 56; April 25th, 2009

Eszti didn"t want to sleep after lunch. So after a while I gave up trying and let her play behind me in the study. After a while I didn't hear any sounds form her. I turned back and this is what I saw:

She slept an Hour this way. I didn't want to move her because she would have woken up then. In the meanwhile Peti had got the cicken pox as well. He started to have spots on thursday (23rd). This is how he looked this day (it was about his 3rd day of illness):

As a mother's day present, my sister and I took my mum to the Diana Exhibit. It was really nice, we enjoyed ourselves very much. My dad was looking after the kids, so we had some ice cream afterwards, and were walking a little bit in Ráday street. It was great to get out a little. My other sister payed for my mum's ticket too, but she couldnt come. We gave the present early, since the exhibit was to be opened until the 3rd of May. As it turned out, they extended it until the 31st, but it was too late for us. Anyway, it was a wonderful evening.

So here we are, me and my mum.

Playing with daddy.

Picture 53; April 22nd, 2009

Eszti's first day at kindergarden after her illness. She was looking forward to it in days! Especially meeting with her little friend, Titi. She was so happy to be going back! A few weeks back I bought her a pink little summer dress which I gave her now to wear in their room in the kindergarden. She was so prud of herself being dressed in pink! Unfortunately no picture of that. But I'll take a picture of her kindergaden and it will go here. I promise!

Picture 52; April 21st, 2009

We went to the playground today. The children enjoyed it so much! I should do it more often. I'm not much of a playground-goer...
Mostly they were playing in the sand, but Eszti went on the swing, and Peti loved the slide.

Picture 51; April 20th, 2009

It's my dad's birthday! I took Eszti to the doctor who said she can finally go to kindergarden again, she is now healthy. She still has some wounds on, but it1s OK. So in the afternoon she was in the garden again blowing bubbles!

Picture 50; April 19th, 2009

No picture today. Eszti is finally finishing her walk with chicken pox, Peti hasn't got it yet. Tomorrow I'll take eszti back to the doctor to see if she can go to kindergarden.

Picture 49; April 18th, 2009

Eszter asked me to make a lot of ponytails for her. It was difficult, since I mustn't comb her hair to hard because of her chicken pox. Well, this was the result. I think it came out really funny!

Picture 48; April 17th, 2009

Today I noticed some little figs on the fig bush. Wow, they are so cute! There will be so many of them!

Picture 47; April 16th, 2009

My husband was very busy creating a watering system for our garden, and also was measuring out where thigs will go in it. The place of the future sandpit is right under the pink flower bushes. The children are so looking forward to have it!But first the grass has to come out. But of course it won't if it is not put in the ground...

Picture 46; April 15th, 2009

Our garden has become beautiful even though much of it is digged up. The rest where we left the flowers however is ever so wonderful! The tulips are all out, there are some white daffodils too. The pear tree and apple tree is full of flowers too, and there is a bush I don't know the name of, but has beautiful pink flowers and is full of these. The grapevines started to grow leaves finally, so everything just speaks about spring! Wow, God has made the world to be beautiful!

Picture 45; April 14th, 2009

We borrowed one of my parents' TV so that the children can watch video. Ours gave it up last week, so the children had to stick with watching their DVD-s on the computer or my notebook. Bot now Winnie-thee-Pooh's Heffalump Movie is back in business! This is Peti's favourite.

Picture 44; April 13th, 2009

Peti and daddy was "watering" Eszti. You can see how her face looks still full of spots.

Picture 43; April 12th, 2009

These are the presents the little Easter rabbit has left here for the children. Eszter had benn telling me about this unicorn for weeks! She was so happy when she got it, she didn't even want to look at any of the other things (chocolate, painted eggs). Peti was a bit confused, kept taking things from Eszti's bunch of presents. But he loved his present too, a little toy he has to push and then a little dog plays on the drum.

Picture 42; April 11th, 2009

Today all the girls from the family came to our house and we painted eggs together. It was great, and even Eszti enjoyed it. Today was a better day for her.

Picture 41; April 10th, 2009

Went to the doctor in the morning with Eszti. She has chickenpox, and has to stay at home for about two weeks! We can't go anywhere this Easter, not even to the family party, because she couldn't sit down there and just look at the huge grass and space. She would want to run, and she mustn't do that now. So we stay home. We'll see how it turns out.
Peti has learn't how to get out of the playpen. Nice days are over! The way he does it... well it is a horror just to watch it.

Picture 40; April 9th, 2009

I wanted to create some decoration for the house with eszter, but in the end It was only shopping which took longer then I expected. So by the time we got home from my mom, who had been looking after the kids while I was away helping the Easter bunny to buy presents, we didn't really have time to start anything. And also Eszti was feeling very unwell, she had temperature, and also some spots! So all we did, was this decoration, but even this small thing gave the living room some Easter feeling.

Picture 39; April 8th, 2009

No picture. I was doing the washing and also tying to get some cleaning done again. I managed to clean the kitchen cupboard doors, while looking after Peti. But I had no time to take a picture. It is sad, isn't it?

Picture 38; April 7th, 2009

Again today we went in the garden in the afternoon. The children were playing in the sand, and I was playing with them and also trying to take pictures of the beautiful things in our garden. I did take a picture of the children, but since that kind of pictrue I already put on the blog, I'going to choose a nature one now. The first opened tulip.

Picture 37; April 6th, 2009

Today we finally bought furniture for the terrace of our house. A table with 6 chairs! From now on we can have lunch outside if the weather is warm enough wich is going to be great! Here is the furniture assembled with two chairs.

Picture 36; April 5th, 2009

Again the day started with ice skating, the church. After church we went to my parents home to take care of my granny who has come back from hospital the previous day. My parents had to go away for the day and mygranny can't really be left alone for long, so my sisters and I were with her untl my parents came home. It was a very nice day, wonderful weather again, so the children and my granny were sitting outside on the balcony. Since my parents came home early and my sisters had something to do in the evening, we decided to sleep over at my parents' flat. Here are the children having a bath there.

Picture 35; April 4th, 2009

In the morning after Eszter's ice skating I left the children at my mom's and I went to TESCO's to look around. I spent 8450 forints... But I did get some nice things for the kitchen that I wanted for long. István in the meanwhile went to play paint ball with my sisters and brother-in-laws. I didn't go, because it is not really my type of things. But this way everybody had a good time.
In the evening I was baking. It is called the Vatican lucky bread. I got some yeast from my sister and I had to do it all week, just doing one thing a day. I had to bake it yesterday. It is really delicious, although I didn't give the rest of the yeast on to anyone, and didn't wish for anythig, since I believe in other things.

Picture 34; April 3rd, 2009

I've got to get myself together. I didn't take any pictures today either. And I can't even tell you what I did. sorry. I think this is just a practice year, and maybe next year there won't be days left out...

Picture 33; April 2nd, 2009

again we spent the afternoon in the garden. This time i managed to take a picture that has me on it too. So here I am with the children playing in the sandpit.

Picture 32; April 1st, 2009

I spent my whole day ironing and I had half of it done. Here is the result. In the basket there are the left overs.

Picture 31; March 31th, 2009

In the afternoon it was a wonderfuél weather again, so after kindergarden we were in the garden. We have some sand there from the well-digging from last week. The children played there while I was carrying on with digging up the garden. We want ne grass so that's why we are doing it. I am not much of a gardener, I hate digging, but strangely I enjoyed today's work so much! I guess maybe it has something to do with doing my own garden instead of someone else's.

Picture 30; March 30th, 2009

I made one of my favourite foods, rizotto with chicken liver for tomorrow. It turned out well. I took a picture of it only the next day when it was on Peti's plate, but it still this day's picture.

Picture 29; March 29th, 2009

O-Oh! Again I have taken no picture! We went to ice skating, then church. Finally the car was done, so today I was driving again. I had to, so that I won't be afraid of driving for the rest of my life. It went well, although adrenaline was high in me.

Picture 28; March 28th, 2009

Since we still didn't have the car I wrecked the other day, Eszter went to ice skating by train. After that we visited my mum, and then went home for lunch. It was a bit difficult to travel with two children alone on the train, but since there were so many kind people helping we managed to get home eventually. The picture was taken at the Újpest train station. Peti enjoyed it so much! He just loves trains, I can see now.
