It was Peti's christening. My sister and her husband were the godparents. Wonderful weather, beautiful day, although with the guests over for lunch and all it was a bit tiring as well. We celebrated Eszti's nameday too, which is next sunday, but won't have time to get the family together again. Oh yes! I managed to get myself into my graduation outfit, which is great!!!

We went to a wedding. Eszter wore her new dress I showed yesterday and we made a nice romantic hairdo for her. She loved it. And it mostly held until the end of the day, which means about 4-5 hours!

I bought a beautiful dress for Eszti yesterday, but since she slept over at her grandma, she only could put it on today to try. I do think it fits her perfectly. Isn't she the most beautiful princess in the world??? She loved it so much I just couldn't take it off her. It was very hard to convince her that she has to take it off otherwise she won't be able to wear it tomorrow (we are going to a wedding again).

It is Peti's christening on Sunday and he needed something really nice. Since my sister's wedding is in two weeks, I thought I'd buy something that is fit for both occasions. So we bought a nice little suit for him. We were gone all morning, and got home quite late, but I think it was worth it. This is the outfit we ended up with. Isn't it the cutest outfit ever??? I can't wait to see it on him on Sunday!

The grass has come out in the garden and in about two weeks it became veautiful. Now we just have to wait for it to become strong.

Picture 73; May 12th, 2009

It was a very nice weather, so after we brought Eszti home from kindergarden we stayed outside and drew all kind of things with coloured chalks. The children enjoyed it so much!

Picture 72; May 11th, 2009

We made waffels, because in the evening we had the youth leaders from our church over to talk about a few things. We had to borrow my sister's waffel maker too, so this way we could make three at a time. It was a real success!!!

Picture 71; May 10th, 2009

Today we went to church. We had to park the car farther away, so we walked across the now empty market. Peti suddenly grabbed Eszti's hand, and they walked like this for a few minutes.

Eszti and Peti playing Lego together. It was such a nice moment!

Today I have three pictures, because it was a busy day, and all three things were important.

In the morning I went for an hour-long ride on my new bike. It was so refreshing and beautiful! The birds were singing, the flowers were beautiful, silence everywhere. Wow! Isn't God's world beautiful???
I found this branch on the ground. It's shape was so interesting, I just had to take a picture of it!

Then in the afternoon Peti had his first haircut! He enjoyed it and concentrated all along. Looked so sweet. Now he looks like a real guy with his really short hair.

The third thing was Mother's Day celebration in Eszti's kindergarden. They were so cute! It was actually playing along with the children as they said their rhymes and songs. Eszti was a bit enchanted, she looked as if not quite knowing what is happening, what are this many people doing there. But she was saying the rhymes and songs nicely. In the end we got presents and so did the grandmoms.

Picture 68; May 7th, 2009

Eszter's favourite bedtime story: Teletubbies - Messes and Muddles. They actually watch it almost EVERY NIGHT! And still hadn't got tired of it. Peti is already quoting and singing it, although he can't even speak! But you just hear that he is singing Teletubbies!!! I mean I like it too, but every night???

Today a I was dressing Peti after his bath he started doing this funny thing which he hadn't done for ages - he was putting his toes into his mouth and foud it very funny. I just had to take a picture. He is 21 months old now. I thought only little babies do this kind of stuff...

Picture 66; May 5th, 2009

We went to the hairdresser's with Eszter to have our hair cut. In the end only my hair was cut, because we are coming in three weeks time because of my sister's wedding, and the hairdresser said it's no worth it. She will cut her hair that day. My hair became a little bit too short, but it does grow fast.

I got a new bike from my husband for my nameday. I love it!

Today it was mother's day in Hungary. We went to my parents' little summer house in Tahitótfalu to celebrate. The weather was nice although not as nice as expected. Despite the tons of mosquitos we were all enjoying ourselves, and my mom just loved the gifts she got from us.

Our first outing with all four of us since chicken pox started. It was a wedding at our church. The children enjoyed themselves until Peti fell off the steps and hurt himself quite badly. However in about 15 minutes he was running around laughing again, so it must have been ok although it did look really bad. Here are the two of them about an hour after the accident:

Picture 62; May 1st, 2009

Peti was in the last days of his chicken pox, so we stayed in. Eszti however went to Zebegény with her daddy to meet with her grandad and her little cousin, Emil.

Eszti is leaving for kindergarden in the morning. Peti decided to help her with her sandals. He sat down to Eszti's feet and kept trying to put one of the sandals on her feet.
